Beezie Madden Joins Road to the Top

One of the most accomplished riders in U.S. history, Elizabeth "Beezie" Madden has joined Road to the Top as a mentor and trainer.

Madden's career is unparalleled on national and international stages. A two-time Olympic team gold medalist and individual bronze medalist, she twice captured the World Cup Finals and boasts four medals from the World Equestrian Games, including individual silver in 2006. Madden has also contributed to 18 Nations Cup victories with Team USA and won eight World Cup Qualifiers across North America.

Madden's talent extends beyond riding to teaching and training. Her extensive knowledge of all aspects of the sport—from riding to horse care to business acumen—is an invaluable component of the Madden legacy. Madden believes in supporting the up-and-coming talent pool of young Americans striving to become show jumping stars.

"I am excited to join the Road to the Top, as it is an exciting new way to foster the careers of some of our talented young equestrians who are dying to find their way on to the US Equestrian Team in an environment that is financially challenging," Madden said. "I personally was given a fantastic opportunity to work with Katie Prudent when I was young, and she taught me invaluable knowledge and skills that enabled me to become a valuable team member for the U.S. team. I hope that with the help from Road to The Top, I can do the same for some of our up and coming talented riders without the financial means and opportunity to break into the top end of our sport."

Road to the Top is honored to have Katie Prudent, Laura Kraut, and Beezie Madden as trainers who donate their time and talent to build the next generation of American equestrian leaders. To learn more about Road to the Top, visit RoadToTheTop.org.
